E-Classrooms are the future of how education is taught in schools. Our lives are dominated by technology—we depend on cloud computing to synch information among all of our electronic devices; we can text, e-mail, and tweet almost simultaneously from our smart phones; we have access to information 24/7 through the Internet. It’s no wonder then that the technology that allows us to do all these things is also increasingly being applied to learning. More and more companies and schools are turning to e-learning to provide training and professional development opportunities to their employees, thanks to its accessibility and adaptability. An e-classroom will be full of various devices that will help students be more engage and learn at their own rate. This helps students' learning and involvement in the classroom.

In ED 308 we learned how to design our own course. Above is my course outline that I created. I decided to create a course that was about athletic training. This course outline is a draft of what a student would be expected to learn in this course and on what weeks.

In this powerpoint it discusses what athletic training is and what all it entails. Athletic training is an interesting career that some student may be interested in. I presented this powerpoint as my first webinar in my ED 409 class. It gives a variety of facts about how to do certain techniques that athletic trainers need to know and how to tape different parts of the body that may have been hurt in sports. By taping an ankle or wrist, this could also prevent injury or further injure an athlete. It is vital for athletic trainers to know all the different tests and techniques to ensure all athletes will be safe on their watch. |
The Nonfiction Text Features powerpoint I made is a great resource to use in any classroom where you are needing to teach or review nonfiction text features to your class. It is a great tool that you can go over with your class at the beginning of the lesson to either teach your students the difference between all the text features or give a quick review of all the text features to refresh your class' memories.
